Mango Strawberry No Bake Pie

Mango Strawberry No Bake Pie

I had a piece of this pie prepared by a close friend. And it was soooo good! And yes no need to bake! I could not remember how to make the pie so I improvised on the crust and remembered a little later what I was missing.

Are you ready to get your taste buds to experience tropical paradise? Then let's make this dessert.

Things you need:

3 medium ripe mangoes
1 bag of dehydrated mango pieces
6 large strawberries or medium ones enough to garnish
3 1/2 cups raw almonds (not roasted)
dates (this was what I forgot so I used Agave nectar instead)
1/2 teaspoon salt
a standard pie pan
1/4 cup cold water

Pie crust:

In your Vitamix or food processor chop almonds and dates together. If no dates then place almonds in a bowl. Add agave nectar and blend with a large spoon until mix appears sticky and and moist. Then spoon mixture into pie pan pressing in firmly until pie crust is formed

Filling:

Peal mangoes and puree in food processor or Vitamix with dehydrated mangoes. The dehydrated mangoes are sweet and add natural sweet flavor to filling. So no need for sugar.
Spoon filling into pie crust and get ready to garnish with strawberries as seen in the picture or however you like.

Once garnishing is complete cover with saran wrap and place in refrigerator for 30 minutes to set and chill before serving.

Ohhhhhh sooooo gooooood as well as easy. You can serve with a homemade ice cream as well. I hope you have a great tropical experience with this Tasty Eden Treat. Enjoy!
